Preparations are underway for the 12th annual, “Giving from the Heart Breakfast” to benefit Mercer Island Youth and Family Services.

The event is set for 7 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center. The program begins at 7:30. The breakfast is free. Attendees are asked for a donation.

This year’s theme is “It’s all about Community.” Terry Moreman and Phil Flash are the 2014 Honorary Chairs.
