Youth employment fair at PEAK March 27

PEAK to Host 2011 Youth Employment and Volunteer Fair

The 2011 Mercer Island Youth Employment and Volunteer Fair is Sunday, March 27 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. The event will be held at the Mercer Island Boys and Girls Club’s PEAK facility located at 4120 86th Avenue. The fair is coordinated by Cheryl Manriquez, City of Mercer Island Department of Youth and Family Services (YFS) Employment Coordinator, in partnership with the Mercer Island Chapter of the Boys and Girls Club, and the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce. Multiple employment and volunteer opportunities will be available for youth including:

  • Job applications with local employers
  • Resume review (11:00am to 12:00pm)
  • Resume writing
  • Job skill training and information
