Mercer Island Parent Edge, a nonprofit organization that is part of the Mercer Island School District PTSA, and the Mercer Island Forefront Team will hold a free virtual presentation, “Youth Suicide Prevention for Parents,” at 7 p.m. Nov. 19. The event is for adults/parents only.

According to MI Parent Edge’s site, “Learn evidence-based prevention strategies to help youth in crisis stay safe and get support. Like first aid and CPR, this valuable knowledge supports healthy families and communities.” For more information, visit www.intheforefront.org.
