Berlyn Lewis Wible, aged 98, resident of Mercer Island since 1951, passed away on November 17, 2023 at Emerald Heights in Redmond, Washington. Berlyn was born in Chanute, Kansas; he graduated from High School in June 1943 and immediately joined the Navy as a 17 year old. He was stationed in Seattle and met his wife Eleanor at a picnic for Christian Service Members at Woodland Park Zoo; they shared over 77 years together. His entire professional career was as an aeronautical engineer with Boeing. A memorial service will be held January 20, 2024 at 11:00AM at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 16508 – 8th Ave. NE, Shoreline, WA.
