Beryl R. Huffstutter

Beryl passed away at his home on April 15, 2011 at age 83. “BR”, as he was known and loved, was born in Portland, Oregon on April 1, 1928, and lived on Mercer Island for the last 55 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Anne Marie in 1997. Beryl was an avid sporting clay shooter and outdoorsman. He retired from Boeing after 32 years of service. He was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather. He is survived by his five children; Mark, Kevin, Colleen Nelson (Ron), Lisa and Jenifer and three grandchildren; Shannon Sandin (Sean), Megan Nelson and Brian Nelson and sister-in-law Jeanne. A funeral mass was offered on April 26 at St. Monica Catholic Church on Mercer Island. Burial at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Monica Catholic Church/Evergreen Hospice or your favorite charity.
