Betty Bostick

Betty Bostick left us suddenly to be with the Lord on May 15, 2010 peacefully in her sleep. Betty was born January 19, 1926 in Akron, Ohio and has been a long time resident of the Seattle area.She was a professional model, fashion consultant, teacher and pie maker extraordinarie. She was an admiralette at the Seattle Yacht Club and a member of The Seattle Tennis Club & Overlake Golf Club. Her warm and outgoing personality with her unbounding energy and tremendous sense of humor won her many friends in a large diverse circle. “ Everyone loved Betty” She spent her happiest hours reading, shopping, putting with her friends in Palm Desert and spending time with her family & friends. She is survived by husband Wally Bostick, son R.B. Musson, daughters Josette Hess & Michelle Bostick-Lowder, stepdaughters Jenny Bergquist & Kathy Browning, their husbands and her 5 grandchildren. Betty was widowed from Ron Musson, champion hydroplane driver previous to her 38 glorious year marriage to Wally Bostick. A memorial service was held at Mercer Island Covenant Church, 3200 78th Ave SE, Mercer Island, Tuesday, May 25, 2010. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
