Boyd Louis Loendorf

Boyd Louis Loendorf, 76, of Mercer Island, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012. Boyd was born to Dora and John Loendorf of Tacoma Washington. He graduated from Stadium High School and held a BA in Interior Design from the University of Washington. Boyd was the long time owner of Larsen Loendorf as well as a Board member and Fellow of American Society of Interior Design (ASID). He was a founding member of the Rotary chapter for Mercer Island and a forty-seven year Rotarian. Boyd’s passions included cooking, gardening and attending the Opera. He and Inga were forty year subscribers to the Seattle Opera. Boyd is survived by his wife Inga, son John, daughter-in-law Rosella and his much loved granddaughter Sarah. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Seattle Opera Foundation, 1020 John Street, Seattle, WA 98109. A service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, July 30th, at the MercerIsland Presbyterian Church.
