Charles Theodore Phillips

Charles Theodore Phillips of Mercer Island, WA passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014. He was 87 years old.

Ted was born in Seattle, WA on October 11, 1926 as a fourth generation of the pioneering W. H. Shoudy family. He lived his entire life in the Seattle area, graduating from Garfield High School, he went on to serve in the Army Air Corp in WW11 in the Philippines and Hawaii. He went to work for GSA after his service and remained there until his retirement 30 years later.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking and fishing especially in the Okanogan area where he had a cabin in Concunully.

He is survived by his niece Kathryn Mackey (David) and his nephew James Cameron (Debbie) and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest June 27th at 12:00 pm in Lakeview Cemetery with a small graveside service.
