Greg Early died peacefully on May 31, 2009, at age 51. Living one day at a time, he enjoyed each moment as it came and accepted hardship as the pathway to peace. He was born in Los Angeles on Jan. 28, 1958, and then moved in 1966 to Mercer Island, where he attended school and was a graduate of Mercer Island High School, class of 1976. He attended Washington State University, where he joined fraternity Delta Upsilon. He then moved to Los Angeles and worked for a commercial gas supply company.

Throughout his life, Mr. Early touched all who knew him with his sense of humor, sweet spirit and compassion. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was a musical enthusiast. He is survived by his parents, Barbara and George Early; brother, Scott Early; sisters, Leslie Spencer and Bonnie Simone; nephew, Rudy Simone, and niece, Erica Simone.

Mr. Early has provided his family with countless wonderful memories that will never be forgotten.

God called Mr. Early home, where he will be eternally peaceful. A celebration of Mr. Early’s life will take place with his immediate family members.
