Hans George Weinmeister passed peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, December 4, 2018 at age 66.

Hans was born on July 3, 1952 at the Swedish Hospital in Seattle. Hans grew up on Mercer Island, lived in Bellevue, and moved to Alaska where he fulfilled his passion for hunting and fishing. He was the star of the show “Wild West Alaska”.

He is survived by sisters Gretchen and Kirsten, niece Gina, nephew Tobias and his family, Cheryl, Jeremy, Lisa, Lauren, and grandchildren Chelsea, Samuel and Jordan, and great grandchildren Roman and Dante. Donations can be made through a Go Fund Me Account to Hans Weinmeister Memorial or to Cook Inlet Keepers of Alaska to fund salmon habitat restoration and survival.

His final resting place will be on the Kenai River and at Sea-Tac Bonnie Watson in Seattle.
