Jane was born to Anna and William Carrie in Seattle on May 26, 1925. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1944 and lived her entire life in the Seattle area. She raised her family and ultimately settled on Mercer Island in 1968 where she lived until she passed peacefully at home on June 26, 2010. Jane was preceded in death by her 1st husband and father of her three children, Charles H. Bruner, in 1968. She then married Thomas W. Sears Jr., who also preceded her in death in 1991. Jane is survived by her children; Catherine A.B. Madueño (Renton), William C. Bruner (Monroe) and Martin D. Bruner (Mercer Island). Jane will be interred at the mausoleum at Acacia Memorial Park and at her request; there will be no memorial services.
