Margaret “Margy” Elizabeth Witherbee

Margaret “Margy” Elizabeth Witherbee, a resident of Mercer Island since 1958, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, the 12th of April 2014, after battling a long illness. She was born in Orlando, FL December 3, 1924, moved to Tampa as a young woman and met the love of her life, Dale, who preceded her in death.

She enjoyed reading, political banter, gardening, traveling to Hawaii and time spent with friends and family at Mercerwood Shore Club. Margy loved to talk!

Margy worked in Administration for the Mercer Island Public School District and volunteered at the Thrift Shop in Mercerdale.

She is survived by her sons, Bruce, Mark (Janis) and Gary, grandchildren, Kimberly, Mark Jr., Jennifer (Michael), and Justin, great-grandchildren Trevor, Connor, Zloleta, Jeanne and Avery. She is loved deeply and forever by all.
