Son of Ralph E. and Thelma T. Jorgenson.
Born Aug. 21, 1935 in Ephraim, Utah. And brother to his sister, Jean Pedersen who preceded him in death. Ralph attended Provo High School and married his high school sweetheart, Sally Corleissen. Ralph and Sally were married for 61 years until Sally’s passing in 2017.
Ralph was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Ralph and Sally are survived by their children Dana Jorgenson, Diane Comstock (Jerry Comstock) and Ralph C. Jorgenson (Dawn Jorgenson), grandchildren Brian Harmon (Audrey Harmon), Lane Harmon (Andrew Futerman), Jessica and Clyde Comstock, and Sophia and Annika
Jorgenson, and great grandchildren Charlotte Oliver, Avalee, Marin and Hooper Harmon and sister-in-law Christine Durham (Ralph Durham). After Sally’s passing, Ralph married Mary Jo Stack and they spent 6 happy years together enjoying the sunshine of Phoenix as well as Covenant Shores on Mercer Island.
Ralph served in the US Army and was stationed in Nuremberg, Germany. Ralph later earned an architecture degree from the University of Utah and practiced in Seattle from 1962 to 2000 working on commercial buildings. Ralph spent 63 years living on Mercer Island and was an active community member always serving his neighbors. Ralph was quick to embrace new technology and was undaunted by learning new things.
Ralph was passionate about boating, spending many years volunteering with the Power Squadron and teaching Boating Safety Courses as well as being a long-time member of the Meydenbauer Yacht Club and serving as Commodore.
Ralph always had a warm smile and generous spirit and will be missed by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held on January 25, 2025 at 11am at the Mercer Island Holy Trinity Lutheran Church followed by a celebration of his life at MBYC.
