Richard (Dick) R. Pangallo

November 2, 1930 – March 23, 2015

Dick passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side. He was a Mercer Island resident since 1958.

He taught school for 39 years and coached for 30 years. Tomorrow, April 2nd, would have been Dick and Hazel’s 60th Wedding Anniversary.

He is survived by his wife Hazel and children Barbara (Frank) Hoffman, Richard (Marianne), Martha (Steve) Harkness, and Matthew (Sandra), as well as 16 grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Eric Gil, MD, John Hynes, MD and Evergreen Hospice for exceptional care provided to Dick. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Overlake Hospital’s Hovind Heart & Vascular Center, or a charitable organization of your choice.
