Trent W. Sommer

August 25, 1929 – October 25, 2016

Trent passed away peacefully with his wife Donna, children Kathy (Sommer) Huggins and Daniel Sommer, and daughter-in-law Connie Wilson at his side.

Trent is preceded in death by his parents Alexander and Esther Gunnison of Mineral Point, WI and wife Lorraine S. Sommer of Mercer Island, WA.

He was a Life member of Masonic Lodge F and AM of Mineral PT. WI. Active in Job’s Daughters, EAA Chapter 430, Olympic Pennisula, Sequim WA. He was proud to have flown 286 children one at a time through the Young Eagles program.

His Memorial Service will be on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2 pm at the Port Townsend Aero Museum, 105 Airport way, Port Townsend, WA. There will be a reception following the service.

Donations can be made to the Port Townsend Aero Museum, or the Shriner Hospitals for Children.
