was born in Yakima, WA

to William H and Margaret

Rainey on April 16th 1919.

She passed on August 16th,

2020 at the age of 101.

She met her husband, Frank

Anderson in the mid 40’s

and they were married in

1947. e newlyweds moved into a house her father and

brother had built, where she lived the rest of her life.

She was a great mother and friend and always kept her

sense of humor. In the last year, she would

like to joke “you try being 100!” A breast

cancer survivor, Verne was predeceased by

her parents, brother, and husband Frank.

She is survived by her son Scott, two

grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
