Electing Donald Trump as president would be like hiring a bully to be the principal of your school. Trump should not be elected as president. For example, he is telling his supporters to hurt people who do not support him. Trump is a bad influence because he is a bully and because he puts down people who come from somewhere different or believe something different than him. Trump says that if a woman is not pretty, then there is no use for her. The president of our country needs to be a good role model and leader for everyone, which Trump is not.
Donald Trump should not be elected president because he is telling his supporters to hurt people who are speaking out against him.
“I love the old days, you know what they used to do to guys like that when they were in a place like this? They’d be carried out in a stretcher, folks,” Trump said.
People teach their children not to bully and hurt other people, yet some of you are supporting someone who does just that. At my school, we have lessons about not hurting others physically and mentally and not to judge other people. Trump is telling people to do the wrong thing by encouraging violence. He talks about how in the “good old days” people could just hurt each other. What I want in a president is someone who, at the very least, doesn’t encourage people to hurt each other. The president should keep everyone safe, even if they don’t support him.
Not only does Trump encourage violence, but he also judges groups of people when only a few people from the group did something wrong. He is telling people to be afraid of Muslims and Mexicans. This is dangerous because he is showing hatred against them. The Holocaust happened because Hitler blamed the Jews for things and showed great hatred. Trump is making people believe things that are not true. This could lead to many people getting hurt.
One more reason that Trump should not be elected president is that he thinks girls are only good for their beauty. Girls are equally as important and as smart as boys. When Trump puts down women, he makes them feel bad about themselves. Do you really want a president who does that? I think the president should care about people’s feelings and think of girls and boys equally.
Wanting a bully for your principal would get people hurt and make people not like each other. The same thing would happen if Trump was elected, only more people would be affected. We are taught that no one should be judged about where they come from, what they believe and what they look like. Donald Trump does the opposite of that. Be reasonable and don’t vote for Donald Trump.
