Among us is a long-serving teacher of young children, Judy Witmer. Judy teaches at the Mercer Island Learning Lab here on the Island and has advocated for children for over 35 years. She is also a teacher at Bellevue College. Judy is celebrating a special 70th birthday on Nov. 20, a day when she will be visiting the Burke Museum with one of her classes.
