A group of citizens has been meeting on Mercer Island for about six months. We are very concerned with the direction our country has taken. Our focus has been how we address the serious issues of the day in a positive manner and with positive force to effect the changes the citizens of this country need. We have recently joined the Coffee Party movement because it is aligned with our views on civil discourse and the positive steps that government can have in our lives.
The Coffee Party of Mercer Island will be meeting on March 27 for a workshop and meeting. Please join us at the Mercer Island Presbyterian Church, located at 3605 84th Ave. S.E., near Clise Park. Check-in is at 1 p.m. with the workshop starting promptly at 1:30 p.m. and concluding at 3:30 p.m. Ari Cowan will be facilitating the workshop. The workshop and meeting are free and open to the public. It is necessary to register as space is limited.
