We may be a tiny city between two major metropolises but we are powerful. Thank you wonderful people of Mercer Island for your help with the Mailing Day of the Mercer Island Directory. It is amazing the terrific turnout we receive every year at the Emanuel Church.

We may be a tiny city between two major metropolises but we are powerful. Thank you wonderful people of Mercer Island for your help with the Mailing Day of the Mercer Island Directory. It is amazing the terrific turnout we receive every year at the Emanuel Church.

Our total tally for the year ending Sept. 30, 2015 was $141,518 to Seattle Children’s Hospital. The major portion of the funds went toward uncompensated care of the children with a minor amount toward SCH Research to cure children. Our guild members have donated over 1,544 hours of their time plus the hours that the people of Mercer Island have donated. We are in great need of new members in our guild, since several have retired or moved away. If you love children and have a few hours to spare, please call our membership chair, Esther Barsher, at 206-232-9280. We need your help. Again, thank you Mercer Island. What a wonderful place to live.
