It is time to give thanks for our community of caring.
Thanks to all who work or volunteer in our community to make it a clean, safe and treasured place.
Thanks to all who teach our children at school, through kindness, good works or example.
Thanks to neighbors who look out for us, help in times of need; who share a ladder or tomatoes from the garden.
Thanks to the people who are good citizens, those who vote, help out at school or church, at parks, the library.
Thanks to drivers who slow down in school zones, give cyclists space on the roadway, are courteous and safe.
Thanks to those who take care of others both young and old with little or no pay or fanfare.
Thanks to those who bring us beauty through their art or words; those who bring us music and theater.
Thank you to those who are keepers of tradition and history. We need you to remind us where we have been.
Thanks to those who show us courage through example during sickness, loss or hardship.
Thanks to those who are far away from home fighting for freedom, and those who support and love them.
Thank you to those who run for and serve in elected office, who represent us the best way they can.
Thanks to those who make us think and feel, and especially those who make us laugh.
