A pair of 3A KingCo baseball playoff games featuring Mercer Island, Bellevue, Lake Washington and Juanita at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue were postponed this evening due to lightning.

The games are rescheduled for Friday: Lake Washington versus Bellevue at 4 p.m. and Juanita versus Mercer Island at 7 p.m. at Bannerwood. Both games were originally set for those same times this evening.

The LW/Bellevue game was delayed until 5 p.m. and the teams took the field, but umpires said they saw lightning again and the game was postponed along with the nightcap game.
