Islanders Kendall Riley and Paige Robertson helped their girls U-14 soccer team, Eastside FC G99 White, take second place at the 2014 President’s Cup Regional tournament in Morgan Hill, Calif. Eastside FC G99 White fell in the finals 2-1 against West Coast FC United White from Laguna Hills, Calif.

In its region, Eastside FC G99 White competed against a field of 12 teams from eight states. The tournament featured 120 teams in the Under-13 through Under-17 age groups. The winners from each division earned a spot in the 2014 U.S. Youth Soccer National President’s Cup in Greenville, S.C., in July.

Eastside FC G99 White players also include Priya White, Joelle Tudor, Carly Tudor, Caylee Gilberg, Marissa Mestichella, Maddie Favour and Sarah Lewis, Keelin Dillon, Kendall Breeden, Ruby Madrone, Jamie Kim, Taylor Thatcher, Karly Stokes,  Sydney Dinsmore, Taylor Montgomery and Mackenzie Crandall.
