The Eastside FC 95 Red (Girls U14) team, coached by Tom Bialek, won the 2010 U.S. Youth Soccer Washington state Championship title, defeating Crossfire FC 95-Thomas for the second year in a row. Islanders on the team include Corey Goelz, a freshman at Mercer Island High School, and Kianna Chang, an eighth-grader at Islander Middle School. The team will represent Washington in the Regional Tournament in Albuquerque, N.M., this summer.

The team also includes: Claire Anderson, Brooke Bofto, Isabelle Butterfield, Molly Callans, Tara Eisenman, Brooke Holland, Tracy Pang, Madeline Racine, Kelley Sindelar, Tori Tappero, Sophia Wagner, Rachel Wheeler, Danielle Wieck and Sarah Williams.
