The Mercer Island boys basketball team fell to Mount Si in the second round of the KingCo basketball playoffs on Thursday afternoon. The final score was 56-47 for the Wildcats.

The Islanders, who beat Juanita on Tuesday night to advance, now find themselves in the 3rd/4th place game tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. at Bellevue College.

The Islanders struggled in the first half to find their offensive footing before making a run in the third quarter. Despite their attemts the team oouldn’t break past the Wildcats, who advance to tomorrow’s championship game.
