The Mercer Island girls basketball team beat Mount Si Thursday night to advance to the KingCo championship game against Bellevue tomorrow night. The Islanders beat the Wildcats 56-44.

The Wildcats kept the game close through all four quarters, before the Islanders were able to pull away in the last minutes of the game.

Mercer Island will now face the Wolverines, who the Islanders lost to in their last meeting of the season, Friday night at 8:15 p.m. at Bellevue College.
