Mercer Island triathlete Eddie Switaj, 28, was the men’s first place finisher during the 12th annual SeaFair Triathlon on Sunday, July 22 at Seward Park.

Switaj won the race in 1:47.03, over a minute ahead of second place finisher, Seattle resident Aaron Scheidies.

Almost 1,800 competed in the annual event in honor of SeaFair.
