Following its loss to top-seeded Eastside Catholic, Mercer Island’s girls basketball squad will next play Bellevue in the 3A District 2 high school tournament at 8 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Bellevue College.

On Feb. 18, Eastside Catholic beat eighth-seeded MI, 47-36.

Bellevue is seeded fourth in the tourney. The winner of the MI-Bellevue matchup advances in the tourney and qualifies for state, while the loser is out.
