MIHS girls swim and dive team honored

Mercer Island High School’s girls swim and dive squad was named the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) 3A team of the month. The WIAA website notes that the Islanders “dominated the 3A state swim and dive meet with the highest point total in state history with 385 points, en route to their team championship. The team won nine out of the 12 possible events at the state meet and set two state records along the way. This team is projected to have eight All-Americans and broke 10 school records this season as well.” Courtesy photo
