MIHS seniors sign national letters of intent

Sixteen Mercer Island High School seniors signed their national letters of intent on June 7 to play collegiate athletics. The event took place in the high school lower commons. The student-athletes are: Benjamin Moughon, volleyball, Wentworth Institute of Technology; Brett Fitzwilson, football, Macalester College; Chase Shavey, football, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy; Cooper Gersch, soccer, Whitman College; Emily Guedel, water polo, Biola University; Ethan Evans, golf, Duke University; Garrett Rogan, football, Villanova; Governor Aufranc, baseball, Pacific University; Halen Otte, baseball, Whitman College; Jakson Winn, swimming, Colorado School of Mines; Jack Varney, baseball, Paradise Valley College; Jett Mai, baseball, Pacific University; Kaden Wu, baseball, Belmont University; Molly Seneker, swimming, Smith College; Nathan Iliuc, soccer, Southwest Baptist University; and Sophia Dondisch, fencing, New York University.
