Mercer Island’s volleyball squad beat Sammamish, 3-0, in high-school action on March 17. The scores were 25-15, 25-14, 25-18.

For the Islanders, Alex Thon had three aces, seven kills and three digs; Campbell Burr had seven digs and four aces; Lily Remington had five kills; Samantha Silke had six kills; and Melana Wong had two aces.
