Rodriguez notches a WIAA athlete of the week honor

Mercer Island High School freshman trackster Sophia Rodriguez was recently named a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association athlete of the week. She ran the fastest 1,600-meter race (4:48) in the state across all classifications at the Lake Washington versus Mercer Island dual meet on March 26.
