Girls soccer: The Mercer Island girls soccer team had four players named to the 2A/3A KingCo girls soccer all-league team. The two first-team selections were senior goalkeeper Amy Braman and junior midfielder Emily Yang. The two second-team selections were senior defender Scarlett Counihan and junior midfielder Makena French. The honorable mentions were sophomore defender Addie Waterman, senior midfielder Natalie Smith and junior defender Avery Conder.

Boys cross country: Junior Connor Pettigrew finished 68th at the 3A state championship meet on Nov. 9 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.
