The Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department still has some spots available in the popular youth summer day camp this year.

The camp is for kids ages 6 to 11 and runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each week features a special theme, with field trips and special guests. The last week of the camp will be held Aug. 12-16.

The camp is $179 per week for residents and $214 per week for non-residents. A three-day option is also available.
